Venezia FC: 40-year concession and €125m investment for new stadium expected in 2027-28

Venezia FC (Serie A Enilive) has signed the concession agreement with the City of Venice (Veneto, ITA) for the management and operation of its future stadium, which is due to open in the second half of the 2027-28 season, the club announced on 27 October 2026.

The 40-year concession (running until 2068) provides for a total investment of €125m by the Venetian club. It covers the equipment and improvements needed to complete the stadium, routine and extraordinary maintenance, and payment of the concession fee.

The stadium, which will be built within the Bosco dello Sport, the City of Venice’s sports park project in the Mestre district, will have a capacity of 18,500 seats and will also host rugby matches, concerts, festivals and cultural events.
