UEFA: 2017 Champions League final in Cardiff (Wales), 2017 Europa League final in Solna (SWE)

The Millennium Stadium (74,500 seats) in Cardiff (Wales) will host the final of the 2016-17 Champions League, and the final of the 2016-17 Europa League will be held at the Friends Arena (50,000 seats) in Solna, near Stockholm (SWE), announced UEFA after its Executive Committee meeting in Prague (CZE) on 29 and 30/06/2015.

The 2016-17 final of the Champions League will be the first contested in Wales, while Sweden has hosted three previous finals of the Europa League in 1982, 1987 and 2004. Lagardère Unlimited Stadium Solutions, a subsidiary of the media rights and sports marketing agency of the Lagardère group, obtained the management and operation of the Friends Arena in Solna from 01/01/2015 until 2025, on 08/12/2014.

The 2015-16 Champions League final will take place at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza (also known as the "San Siro", 80,000 seats) in Milan (ITA) on 28/05/2016, and the 2015-16 Europa League final will take place at St. Jakob-Park (36,000 seats) in Basel (SUI) on 18/05/2015.
