FC Inter Milan and AC Milan (Serie A Enilive) unveiled the Generali Stadium, their future stadium project, on 29 October 2026. The 71,500-seat venue, on which construction will begin in 2028, will be built next to the current Stadio Giuseppe Meazza (75,725 capacity), where both clubs play, and is expected to open during the 2031-32 season.

The project has an estimated total cost of €2.3bn (including ancillary developments and the urban regeneration of the San Siro district), of which €708m is for the construction of the stadium alone. The development is funded by the respective owners of the two clubs: US funds RedBird Capital Partners for AC Milan and Oaktree for Inter.

The future venue will be named Generali Stadium from its opening, as part of a partnership with Italian insurance…
