CAF / TV rights: tender for interclub competitions in Sub-Saharan Africa for 2026-2028

The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) is launching a tender for the media rights to its interclub competitions in Sub-Saharan Africa for the 2026-2028 period, the body announced on 2 November 2026.

The territory concerned is Sub-Saharan Africa, with two categories of rights:
• English-speaking (pay-TV) and local languages;
• free-to-air television, all languages.

The following are, however, excluded from the tender: the MENA region (all languages) and pay-TV rights for French-speaking territories.

The deadline for submitting bids is 11 November 2026 at 5pm Cairo time (3pm GMT, 4pm CET). Media companies or organisations wishing to participate in the tender "can request the Invitation to Tender (ITT) form by email at: mediasales@cafonline.com."
