UEFA: Angel Maria Villar Llona (ESP) becomes the senior vice-president

Angel Maria Villar Llona (ESP) has been appointed the senior vice-president of UEFA, announced the European body after the meeting of its Executive Committee in Prague (CZE) on 29 and 30/06/2015.

Angel Maria Villar Llona (55 years old) who is also the president of the RFEF and a vice-president of FIFA, until now held the position of second vice-president of UEFA. He succeeds Senes Erzik (TUR), who is no longer on the Executive Committee as of the conference held in Vienna (AUT) on 24/03/2015. The Turk, who remains a member of the Executive Committee of FIFA (a position he has held since 1996), is now an honorary member of the Executive Committee of UEFA.
