Bundesliga: publication of Bayer Leverkusen’s second sustainability report, covering 2024 and 2025

Bayer 04 Leverkusen (Bundesliga) have published their second sustainability report (see below), covering calendar years 2024 and 2025, on 2 November 2026.

The club presents this 45-page document as a progress report. It follows the report published in 2024, which covered 2022 and 2023. That first report set out the club’s approach to sustainability and described the organisational structures created for it. The new report covers developments in 2024 and 2025 across three areas:
• club governance;
• environment;
• society.

It documents the strategic and structural steps taken, the measures launched and the progress made. The club carried out a double materiality analysis, followed by a survey of its stakeholders. The results serve as a basis to refine its sustainability strategy.
