FC Bayern Munich: tram in the club’s colours in service for one year

Tram 2801 of the Münchner Verkehrsgesellschaft (MVG) transport company, in the colours of FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) will run through the streets of the Bavarian city for one year from November 2026, the club said on 5 November 2026.

The tram, which also features elements promoting the Allianz Arena (75,000 seats), "brings the atmosphere of the club and the stadium to the city centre and makes people want to visit the stadium, the museum and the Bayern store," the club added. It runs on six MVG lines. MVG is the operator of public transport (metro, trams and buses) in the city of Munich.

This initiative is part of the celebrations of the 150^th anniversary of Munich’s tram network, which opened in 1876.
