Liga BBVA: the network of service stations Avia becomes the shirt sponsor of SD Eibar in 2015-16

Avia, the network of service stations, has become the shirt sponsor of SD Eibar (Liga BBVA) for the 2015-16 season, announced the Basque club on 29/06/2015.

The Avia group replaces Hierros Servandos, a company specialising in the collection and processing of ferrous metals, on the club's shirt. Hierros Servandos paid an estimated €360,000 (compared to €200,000 in the 2013-14 Liga Adelante) for this space during the 2014-15 season. The club says that the partnership with the service station network has meant a significant increase in the amount paid. All together, the club's sponsorship partnerships came to €1m in 2014-15. Alex Aranzabal, the president of SD Eibar, is also the former marketing director of the Avia Group in Spain (141 stations).

The club will announce in the coming weeks its new official kit supplier, which will replace the Danish company Hummel, which was under contract with Eibar during the 2014-15 season.
