Nike: football revenue of €2.02bn (01/06/2014 - 31/05/2015) for the fiscal year 2015, down 7%

The American sports equipment manufacturer Nike recorded football-based revenue of $2.25bn, or €2.02 bn (31/05/2015 conversion rate: $1 = €0.91) for the 2015 financial year (the 01/06/2014 to 31/05/2015), down 7% compared to 2014 (year of World Cup) when football accounted for $2.41bn, or €1.76bn (conversion rate 31/05/2014: $1 = €0.74), the company announced on 25/06/2015.

Nike recorded a turnover of $30.6bn (€27.5bn), up 10% from 2014 ($27.80bn, or €20.57bn). Net income for Nike was $3.3bn, or €2.97bn, up 22% from fiscal year 2014, when it was $2.69bn, or €1.99bn. Product sales reported $25.83bn (or €23.26bn) and represent 84.6% of the total turnover. In the constitution of its turnover, the company Nike also reported on its corporate income, as well as the income of the Converse brand (acquired in 2003 for $305m).
