Bundesliga: Pfungstädter (beer) extends agreement with the promoted club SV Darmstadt 98

The brewer Pfungstädter has extended its partnership with SV Darmstadt 98 (Bundesliga) for the 2015-16 season, the club announced on 01/07/2015.

The club, located 26 kilometers from Frankfurt was second in 2.Bundesliga in 2014-15, and will play in the German first division after a 33 year absence. Pfungstädter maintains its presence on the LED advertising boards during home games, as well as the exclusive distribution of beer inside the Merck Stadion (17,000 seats). The local brewery has been under contract with SV Darmstadt since 1998.

• The German sports equipment Jako will replace the American brand Nike as the official equipment supplier to SV Darmstadt for the 2015-16 season.
  • This contract will expire at the end of the 2017-18 season.
