Liga BBVA: Villarreal install a hybrid pitch (Desso GrassMaster technology), a first in Spain

The enhanced grass (or hybrid pitch) technology Desso GrassMaster, developed by the Dutch company Desso Sports Systems, has been installed, since 02/07/2015, at the Estadio El Madrigal (25,000 seats), where Villarreal CF (Liga BBVA) play their home matches.

"Villarreal are a pioneer in Spain for this technology, since no first or second division team has an enhanced grass system currently in its stadium," stated the club.
