CONCACAF has unveiled a new reform programme to its governance structure, the confederation announced on 06/07/2015.

A new three-person Special Committee comprising the presidents of the football federations of Mexico, the United States and Canada -- respectively Justino Compean, Sunil Gulati and Victor Montagliani -- will take control of CONCACAF. The committee will run “the day-to-day operations of the confederation in the wake of the US indictments of certain CONCACAF officials,” stated CONCACAF on 06/07/2015.

The organisation further announced a new "CONCACAF Reform Framework" had been agreed at its Executive Committee meeting in Vancouver, Canada on 04/07/15 (see below).

  • "In implementing the Reform Framework, the Confederation will demonstrate to its fans, sponsors, member associations and other stakeholders that CONCACAF Confederation of North and Central America and the Caribbean is resilient and devoted to managing, developing, and promoting the game with accountability and transparency," stated CONCACAF on 06/07/2015.
