Brazil: Mediapro to distribute TV rights outside the Americas of the first division for 2015-2019

The Spanish broadcaster Mediapro has acquired, from its Brazilian counterpart Rede Globo, the international distribution of the audiovisual rights to the Chevrolet Brasileirao Serie A, (Brazilian first division) for the 2015-2019 period, on 02/07/2015. The agreement also includes the audiovisual rights to the Paulistão Chevrolet, the state championship of São Paulo.

Rede Globo retains the distribution of TV rights for the Americas. The agreement covers a minimum of 153 games per season, summaries of all matches of the two competitions and programmes such as "Footbrazil". The rights are valid for all distribution platforms.

• The MP & Silva agency distributed the audiovisual rights to the 2015 Chevrolet Brasileirão Série A Brazilian first division. A national championship with 20 teams sponsored by Assaí. and the   Paulistão Chevrolet Championship of the State of São Paulo (Brazil), four groups of five teams in 2015 in selected countries in Europe and Asia:
