Oceania: beIN Sports acquires exclusive TV rights to the Champions League for 2015-2018

The pay-TV group beIN Sports Australia Pty Ltd acquired the exclusive rights to broadcast the Champions League for the 2015-2018 cycle, indicated UEFA in its documentation updated on 07/07/2015. The information has been confirmed by beIN Sports Australia on 10/07/2015.

The rights apply to all broadcast platforms, covering the entire Pacific region, including New Zealand and Australia, where the Qatari group beIN Media Group acquired the Australian pay-TV group Setanta Sports Australia on 14/10/2014, and launched its beIN Sports channels soon thereafter.

  • The rights acquired by beIN Sports Australia, via the Team Marketing agency, include the next four editions (2015-2018) of the European Super Cup Game between the last winner of the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League. .
