FIFA: one of FIFA officials arrested in Switzerland extradited to the United States on 15/07/2015

"One of the seven FIFA officials arrested in Switzerland was extradited to the United States on 15/07/2015. He was handed over to a three-man U.S. police escort in Zurich who accompanied him on the flight to New York," said the FOJ (Swiss Federal Office of Justice) on 16/07/2015.

"One of the seven FIFA officials agreed yesterday afternoon (on 09/07/2015) to be extradited to the United States. The FOJ was able to give its approval through a simplified procedure," indicated the Swiss Federal Office of Justice on 10/07/2015. Swiss authorities say they can not officially confirm the name of the leader, who is reportedly Jeffrey Webb (Cayman Islands), the former president of CONCACAF and former vice-president of FIFA, according to several sources.
