Switzerland: airline reservation website BravoFly become shirt sponsor of FC Lugano in 2015-16

BravoFly.com, an airline flight booking site, has become the shirt sponsor of FC Lugano (Raiffeisen Super League, the first Swiss division) in 2015-16, the club announced on 15/07/2015. FC Lugano are promoted after 13 seasons in the Challenge League (Swiss second division), as well as recovering from bankruptcy -- and its sports limited company being re-structured -- in 2003-2004.

BravoFly.com. a website owned by the Lastminute.com group, wants to raise its profile in the Swiss market, as the company has been located in Ticino, in Chiasso (26 km from Lugano), for nine years. BravoFly.com replaces the energy group Ail, who were the shirt sponsor of the Lugano club in 2014-15.

• The BravoFly Rumbo group were acquired the Lastminute.com brand in March 2015.
  • The flight booking website now bears the name of its flagship brand: the Lastminute.com group.
• The consolidated turnover of the group was €2.5bn in 2014.
