Premier League: Marathonbet (betting) becomes a partner of Liverpool FC until 2017-18

The British betting operator Marathonbet has become a partner Liverpool FC (Barclays Premier League) for three seasons (2015-16 to 2017-18), announced the club on 17/07/2015. As a regional partner, Marathonbet will have the exclusive rights for the UK. 188Bet, which has been a partner since 2009, will use the image of the club in the Brazilian and Asian markets in 2015-16, as well as Comeon! on the Scandinavian market in 2015-16.

Marathonbet will receive visibility at Anfield, access to first team players and the club's legends, as well as exposure via the digital platforms of Liverpool FC. The company replaces Betfair, a club partner in 2014-15 .

The club generated €124.1m of commercial revenue in 2013-14, according to figures from the Deloitte Football Money League 2015. This total represents 41% of the club's revenue.
