Premier League: Coco Joy (beverages) partners with Manchester City and CFG clubs

Coco Joy, a coconut-flavoured beverage brand from the FAL Food & Beverages group, has partnered with three CFG (City Football Group) clubs, Manchester City FC (Barclays Premier League), New York City FC (MLS) and Melbourne City FC (A-League, Australian first division), announced the group on 20/07/2015.

The Coco Joy logo is already visible on the sleeves of the Manchester City shirt during their summer tour in Australia. The brand was a partner of Melbourne City FC in 2014-15, and decided to extend the agreement with the other two leading clubs of the City Football Group.

  • Manchester City FC own, since 21/05/2013, New York City FC in a joint venture with the Major League Baseball (MLB, USA) team New York Yankees.
    • New York City FC began play in MLS in 2015.
    • Exact terms have not been disclosed, but Manchester City will own 70%-75% of NYCFC, with the New York Yankees as the minority owner with 25%-30%.
