France: Thierry Pujol is promoted to be the FDJ sports integrity director, since 06/07/2015

Thierry Pujol, the director of risk management and security of the FDJ since 2005, has been promoted to director of sports integrity since 06/07/2015, announced the French national lottery on 17/07/2015.

"In this role, he is, in particular, the FDJ Integrity representative to the European and global associations of lotteries. He reports directly to Stéphane Pallez," the CEO of the group, announced the FDJ.

The name of his successor as director of security and risk management of the FDJ will be announced soon.

• "The FDJ is the first operator in France to create a post of 'Director of Sports Integrity'. This strategic decision is to protect the responsible gaming model it defends, in a context where the growth of sports betting worldwide generates increased risks in the matter.
• It will also consolidate and give new impetus to what has been company policy for over 20 years  (a charter for cyclist sponsors, European code of conduct on sports betting, prevention efforts alongside the sports federations and more).
