China: Letv, in partnership with MP & Silva, extends its rights to the Serie A and Ligue 1

Letv, a Chinese technology company that notably distributes the live streaming and on demand service LeTV Sports, concluded a "long term" strategic partnership with the British media rights agency MP & Silva, on 20/07/2015.

The agreement will include the online distribution, in China, of the Serie A TIM, Ligue 1, the Emirates FA Cup, the SkyBet Championship, the Capital One Cup, competitions organised by the SPFL (first, second, third and fourth Scottish divisions), the Jupiler Pro League, friendly matches for the international team of Brazil (Brazil Global Tour) and friendly home match of the England national team (and U-23s).

The duration of the distribution agreements were not specified. "A majority of these rights was acquired exclusively," stated Letv on 20/07/2015.

• LeTV began its collaboration with MP & Silva in 2012 by entering into a non-exclusive agreement for distribution of the Serie A TIM and Ligue 1 on the platform Letv Sports for the 2012-2015 cycle.
