Premier League: Sky Sports and News UK acquire near-live clips on the Internet (2016-2019)

The British pay-TV group Sky has acquired the broadcasting rights for mobile and the Internet platforms of Sky Sports, in the UK, to near-live video clips of the Barclays Premier League for the 2016-2019 cycle on 22/07/2015. These clips cover both specific highlights of matches as well as complete summaries of matches.

With this agreement, Sky has entered into an exclusive distribution partnership with the British media group News UK, the holder of these rights in the United Kingdom during the 2013-2016 cycle. As in the 2013-2016 cycle, the digital editions of The Sunday Times, The Times and The Sun newspapers (and now the online game "Dream Team") offer their customers the near-live video clips of Premier League matches, as well as a dedicated programme, during the 2016-2019 cycle.
