China: the web platform Letv Sports acquires the 2015-2018 rights to the European Cups (press)

Letv, the Chinese technology company which notably broadcasts the live streaming on-demand service Letv Sports, has acquired the broadcasting rights on Internet and mobile platforms, in China, for the Champions League and Europa League for the 2015 -2018 cycle, according to several Chinese media outlets on 22/07/2015.

These rights also include the 2015 to 2018 editions of the European Super Cup. The Chinese media do not specify whether the rights acquired from the TEAM Marketing agency are exclusive or non-exclusive. In China, the online broadcast rights to the 2012-2015 cycle of the Champions League, Europa League and European Super Cup, were shared by the groups Sina and Tencent.
