LaLiga: 2015-16 free-to-air rights to Liga BBVA, Copa del Rey and summaries awarded on 31/07/2015

LaLiga launched a tender for the 2015-16 free-to-air broadcasting rights, in Spain, to 38 Liga BBVA games, 10 Copa del Rey games, and summaries of all the matches of the two competitions, on 17/07/2015. The rights apply to all distribution platforms. The submission of tenders was to be made before 28/07/2015 at noon CET. The awarding of lots will take place on 31/07/2015. If the floor price of the three lots of games is not reached, LaLiga reserves the right to award each lot to several broadcasters, on a non-exclusive basis.

• Lot 1: live and free-to-air broadcast exclusively (and/or non-exclusive replays), one Liga BBVA game in each of the 38 matchdays of the championship. This is a second choice match, to be broadcast on Saturdays at 18:00 or 22:00, or 18:00 on Sunday. This excludes any Spanish club qualified to European competition, "and, in any case Real Madrid CF, FC Barcelona, Valencia CF and Atlético de Madrid". The broadcaster has the right to broadcast a summary of five minutes of these matches.
