David Beckham, 40 years and a former England international, became an investor in MyEye, a live video streaming application, on 22/07/2015. This application, a competitor of Periscope (Twitter) and Meerkat, allows users to stream live video content that expires after 72 hours. David Beckham will exclusively use MyEye to share videos with his fans.

"I’m always looking to back and support British businesses that have the ability and vision to do something truly transformational on the global stage, and I believe that MyEye has the potential to change the way people interact through social media. I have been cautious about the partners I work with in the digital world and I’ve been very impressed with Paul, Mark and Lee (the founders)," said David Beckham, on 22/07/2015.

Users of the application are able to share their content on social networks. Unlike MyEye, the video content of the Meerkat application can not be rewatched by a user (unless they have saved it), while the video content of Periscope is kept for 24 hours.
