Bundesliga: Ryobi (home improvement tools) extends with Hertha Berlin in 2015-16

The home improvement and hardware Ryobi brand has extended its partnership with Hertha BSC Berlin (Bundesliga) for the 2015-16 season, announced the club on 30/07/2015. The agreement was negotiated by Sportfive Germany.

The Japanese brand is owned by TTI (TechTronic Industries), a group based in Hong Kong. Ryobi was an official partner in 2014-15 and has strengthened its presence by becoming an exclusive partner. The company obtains rights such as stronger presence on the advertising boards at the Olympic Stadium and the possibility of activations. Ryobi wants to develop its presence in the north of Germany with this agreement. "For Ryobi, this is a great way to be seen by a wider audience and thus increase the level of brand awareness," said Ralf Häfele, CEO of TTI Central Europe.

Hertha BSC are still negotiating on their shirt sponsor for the 2015-16 season. The German betting operator Bet-at-home.com could replace Deutsche Bahn (railway), according to several German media in early July 2015.
