Twitter: Barcelona most followed club in Europe with 30.4 million followers across all accounts

FC Barcelona (Liga BBVA) are Europe's most followed club on Twitter with 30.4 million followers across its 8 official accounts, according to figures recorded by News Tank Football, on 05/08/2015. With 15.7 million followers, the Catalan club remains the second most followed European club on its main account (in English), behind Real Madrid CF (Liga BBVA), which has 16.7 million followers on its English account.

Liverpool FC (Barclays Premier League) has 21 different official accounts on Twitter, which represents the highest number of accounts of any club, ahead of Paris Saint-Germain (10 accounts) and FC Barcelona (7 accounts). The cumulative number of fans on the other official accounts never exceed the number of followers on a club's primary account.
