Liga BBVA: Valencia CF have opened an office in Singapore to develop its brand in Asia

Valencia CF (Liga BBVA) has announced the opening of an office in Singapore, its first branch overseas, "with the intention to meet the increasing interest of fans and Asian brands," the club announced on 28/07/2015.

"Our first season with the new majority shareholder (the Singaporean Peter Lim) has been incredible and has attracted the attention of football fans worldwide, especially in Asia. Football is a major source of entertainment in Asia and the fans there are more and more informed. The development of our presence in the long term in Asia is a key sector in our strategic development plan," stated Peter Draper (ENG), the new director of commercial affairs and marketing of Valencia CF, on 28/07/2015.

Peter Draper served as the marketing director of Manchester United FC (Barclays Premier League) from 1999 to 2006. Valencia CF announced, on 24/03/2015, that Draper had become a consultant for the club and would support the development of the club's business strategy.
