Premier League: StubHub (ticketing) extends partnership with Everton until 2016-17

StubHub, a company specialising in the purchase and resale of tickets for sporting and entertainment events, has extended its partnership with Everton FC (Barclays Premier League) until 2016-17, the club announced on 06/08/2015.

The American company has worked with the Liverpool-based club since 2012. According to the club, the platform is used by thousands of Everton season ticket holders each year. The renewed agreement includes new pricing conditions to introduce a more uniform tariff structure. The club broke its sales record during the 2014-15 campaign with a total of 30,000 season ticket holders, of which 4000 were new. The season ticket rates for 2015-16, excluding discounts, range from £514 (€729.5) to £599 (€850).

With an average attendance of 38,406 in 2014-15 the Premier League season, Everton had the 8th highest mark in the league. The club had an occupancy rate of 97.2% in the same season, necessitating the use of a ticket resale platform to optimise its matchday income.
