Germany: Goal.com and Spox.com (Perform Group) offer live streaming of Ligue 1 matches for free

Spox.com and Goal.com (German edition), two German websites that offer sports information and betting, provided their users with free live streaming (live broadcast) of two games of Matchday 1 of the 2015-2016 Ligue 1 season: LOSC Lille - Paris Saint-Germain (0-1) on 07/08/2015, and Olympique de Marseille - Stade Malherbe Caen (0-1) on 08/08/2015.

The two websites belong to the British company Perform Group, which specialises in the production and distribution of sports content on digital platforms. Perform Group acquired the broadcasting rights, via the British agency MP & Silva, to the Serie A TIM and Ligue 1 for 2013-2015 period on 22/04/2013. The rights were valid for the live streaming service "Watch&Bet", reserved for the digital platforms of sports betting operators. No information has been released about a possible extension of the agreement beyond the 2014-15 season.

Spox.com and Goal.com have not indicated if they will offer other 2015-16 Ligue 1 fixtures to German internet users beyond the first matchday of the season, and if so, whether the live streaming service will…
