FC Barcelona: record €608m in revenues (+15%) in 2014-15, net profit down 63% to €15m

FC Barcelona (Liga BBVA) posted a record figure of €608m in revenues during the 2014-15 fiscal year (from 01/07/2014 to 30/06/2015), up 15% compared to 2013 -14 (€529.9m), announced the 2014-15 European and Spanish champions on 15/07/2015. Revenues for the Catalan club had increased by 8% between 2012-13 (€490.5m) and 2013-14.

The sharp rise in Barça's revenues is mainly explained by the 33% increase in commercial and marketing revenues, which rose from €169m in 2013-14 to €225m in 2014-15, as well as the 16% growth in the club's ticketing revenues, which rose from €128m on 30/06/2014 to €149m one year later.

Barcelona posted an EBITDA of €105m, down 21.6% year-on-year (€134m), and the club's operating profit fell by 53.4% to €27m on 30/06/2015, against €58m one year earlier. The 2014-15 net profit (after tax) of the club was €15m, down 63.4% compared to 2013-14 (€41m).
