Olympics: Yamato Holdings (shipping) becomes the fourth official partner of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics

The Japanese shipping company Yamato Holdings has become the fourth official partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo (Japan) in 2020, announced the Japanese organising committee on 10/08/2015. Yamato Holdings becomes a partner of the "logistics" category.

Yamato Holdings joins the Japanese energy company Tokyo Gas and the airlines ANA and Japan Airlines with the rank of official partner. Tokyo 2020 now has 17 partners in its sponsorship portfolio.

"We also aim to utilize our world-class logistics operations to propagate economic benefits through 'luggage-free' services for visitors to Japan in order to make the maximum contribution to a successful Games and a prosperous society," said Masaki Yamauchi, president of Yamato Holdings, on 10/08/2015.
