Ligue 1: NetBet (betting operator) partners with AS Saint-Étienne in 2015-16

The French betting operator NetBet has partnered with AS Saint-Étienne (Ligue 1) for the 2015-16 season, the company announced on 06/08/2015. The partnership was negotiated by the club's marketing agency, Sportfive France.

NetBet will be visible on two 3D carpets around the goals, LED advertising boards and the big-screens at the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium (42,000 seats). The betting operator has activated the partnership by implementing a crossbar challenge (the NetBet Golden Barre), during halftime at home fixtures. The French site also runs this event with its second partner in Ligue 1, GFC Ajaccio. Prediction games will also be held in the VIP lounges of the stadium.

AS Saint-Étienne's sponsorship revenues increased by €100,000, totalling €7.55m (14.1%) in 2013-14, excluding representation commissions.
