FIFA: two members of the reform committee will be appointed by commercial partners

The 2016 FIFA Reform Committee, whose creation was announced after the meeting of the executive committee on 20/07/2015, will have two members appointed by the commercial partners of FIFA, announced the international federation on 11/08/2016. The committee is composed of 15 members, including 12 from the confederations (two from UEFA, two from the AFC, two from CONCACAF, two from the CAF, two from CONMEBOL, two from the OFC as well as the independent chairman François Carrard.

"The commercial partners of FIFA will also play a key role in the reforms and we will discuss the most productive way to include their views," said Joseph Blatter, the president of FIFA, on 11/08/2015.

The FIFA partners have publicly expressed their concern for several months following the various cases of corruption affecting the international federation.
