JD Sports, the British sporting goods distributor, has become the exclusive partner of Crystal Palace FC (Premier League) for the advertising boards at Selhurst Park (25,000 seats) until the end of the 2016-17 season, the club announced on 14/08/2015.

JD Sports is now present on all of the fixed advertising boards of the stadium in London. The contract also extends to the naming rights of the stadium, built in 1924, which will retain the name Selhurst Park. Crystal Palace sold the same areas of visibility to the betting operator 12BET, during the 2013-14 season.

The club generated £6.9m (€9.6m) of commercial revenue in 2014, including £1.7m (€2.36m) through sponsorship.

  • CPFC 2010 Ltd, the company which owns Crystal Palace FC and its stadium Selhurst Park (25,073 seats), achieved a turnover of £90.4m (€113m on 30/06/2014) during the 2013-14 season.
  • Crystal Palace finished the 2014-15 Premier League season in 10th place with 48 points (13 wins, 9 draws and 16 defeats).
