Liga BBVA: 10 matches on four continents in the LFP World Challenge, creating new deals for clubs

Seven Liga BBVA clubs (Malaga CF, Real Sociedad de Fútbol, Rayo Vallecano, Club Atletico de Madrid, Valencia CF, Granada CF and Athletic Club Bilbao) participated in the second edition of the LFP World Challenge, a friendly tournament organised by the Spanish League in seven countries across four continents, from 26/07 to 08/08/2015.

The LFP World Challenge, the first edition of which was held in 2014, aims to "develop the image of Spanish football internationally, exhibit the qualities of the 'Spanish brand' and generate cultural and commercial events".

The list of the countries where matches of the LFP World Challenge were played was established after consultation between the clubs and LaLiga, based on the commercial interests and promotional targets of both parties. Many commercial agreements with the Spanish clubs and LaLiga were signed during the 2015 LFP World Challenge, particularly in China, where two fixtures were arranged.
