Tottenham Hotspur FC (Barclays Premier League) have launched its "Fanbassadors" programme which aims, through specially recruited fans of the club, to advise and inform spectators attending White Hart Lane (36,300 seats) on matchdays, the club announced on 14/08/2015. The club had already tested the program at several matches in 2014-15.

Recognisable by their blue jackets with the inscription "Fanbassador" on the back, these stewards are strategically placed around Tottenham (in north London) near the club megastore and the stadium. This initiative officially began with the first home game of the 2015-16 season, Tottenham Hotspur - Stoke City FC (2-2, Matchday 2 of the Premier League, on 15/08/2015).

The club was inspired by the concept of "Games Makers", volunteers at the London Olympics in 2012. The "Fanbassadors" programme also highlights the club's commitment to create local jobs.
