Russia: NTV-Plus acquires Ligue 1 broadcasting rights and prolongs its Serie A rights deal

NTV-Plus, the satellite subscription branch of the Russian broadcaster NTV (owned by Gazprom-Media), acquired the Ligue 1 broadcasting rights in Russia, on 14/08/2015. The French first division matches will be broadcast on "Match TV", one of the channels of NTV-Plus.

The Russian broadcasting group also extended its deal for the Serie A TIM broadcasting rights in Russia, on 17/08/2015. The Italian first division matches will also be available on "Match TV".

Neither the financial details or the duration of contracts have been disclosed. Both acquisitions were made with the British media rights agency MP & Silva.
