England: FA to spend £260m on an investment plan for amateur football (2015-2019)

The English Football Association presented the "National Game Strategy for Participation and Development" investment plan for amateur football for the 2015-2019 period, on 12/08/2015.

This plan, which follows the one established for the 2011-2015 period, includes a total investment of £260m (€364m) over four seasons. Four main objectives have been identified:

• The creation and renovation of pitches
• Training of coaches
• Increasing the number of participants
• Increasing the number of people working in football
