Serie A: Turkish Airlines could become the main shirt sponsor of AS Roma for €7m per year

Turkish Airlines could become the main shirt sponsor of AS Roma (Serie A TIM) for at least the 2015-16 season, according to the Italian newspaper La Repubblica on 21/08/2015.

The amount of the proposed contract is estimated at €7m per year, with the possibility of bonuses. The duration of the contract has not been disclosed. According to Italian media, Turkish Airlines had offered €5m per year last season, and made an initial offer of €6m for the 2015-16 season. Turkish Airlines intends to activate the partnership with promotions around the airline's main routes to Rome and the surrounding areas.

CAA Sports, a subsidiary of the US firm Creative Artists Agency, is responsible for finding a main shirt sponsor for AS Roma for the 2015-16 season. AS Roma had been seeking an annual allocation of €10m for the main shirt space.
