Parma Calcio 1913, the new club of the city of Parma (Italy) following the bankruptcy of Parma FC, was launched by Guido Barilla, chairman of the Barilla agro-industrial group, on 01/07/2015. The club has registered 7,608 season ticket holders for the 2015-16 season during which the team will play in the Serie D (the Italian fourth division, and the first non-professional level), according to local daily La Gazzetta di Parma on 07/08/2015.

4,783 season ticket holders were registered on the website "noisiamoparma.it" ("We are Parma") created by the new management. The fans must go to the Tardini stadium (27,900 seats), where the team will play, or a branch of the Cariparma bank, a partner of the new club, before 28/08/2015 in order to redeem/buy their season tickets. The prices range from €110 (side stand) and €925 (central stand).

Parma FC was declared permanently bankrupt, since no takeover bid was lodged before the deadline of 22/06/2015. The new club president is Nevio Scala (67 years old), a former coach of AC Parma (later Parma FC) from 1989 to 1996.
