Bundesliga: attendance for Matchday 2 of 2015-16, Schalke - Darmstadt draws 61,565 spectators

Matchday 2 of the 2015-16 Bundesliga season drew an average of 44,220 spectators per match from 21 to 23/08/2015. The average attendance of the German championship is 43,554 spectators (93% fill rate) after each of the 18 clubs has played one home game.

The match between FC Schalke 04 and newly promoted SV Darmstadt (1-1) attracted the best crowd of Matchday 2, with 61,565 spectators at the Veltins Arena (61,673 seats). The lowest attendance was at the match between newly promoted FC Ingolstadt 04 and Borussia Dortmund (0-4) with 15,000 spectators. This match, played at the Audi Sportpark, recorded the only crowd less than 30,000 spectators on Matchday 2 in the Bundesliga.
