Italy: ConTe.it (insurance) becomes title sponsor of the Serie B championship until 2017-18

ConTe.it, the Italian automobile and motorcycle insurance company, has become the title sponsor of Serie B until 2017-18, announced the Lega Serie B on 26/08/2015. ConTe.it is a subsidiary of the British Admiral Group, and has been operational in Italy since 2008.

The championship now bears the official name Serie B ConTe.it, much like the name Serie A TIM (Telecom Italia Mobile) for the Italian first division. The company will be present on the official logo of the league and is entitled to visibility on advertising boards and other media in the stadiums of all 22 clubs in the Serie B. The official logo will appear on the sleeve of the shirts of all the teams.

The Italian second division was under a naming contract with the betting operator Eurobet during the 2013-14 season.
