FIFA: presidential candidate Michel Platini organises press conference in Monaco on 28/08/2015

The president of UEFA, Michel Platini, is organising a press conference at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco on Friday 28/08/2015 at 16:00 CET. This traditional event coincides with the draw for the 2015 Champions League group stages (on 27/08/2015, at 17:45 CET) and the Europa League (28/08/2015, at 13:00 CET), and is his first official speech since announcing his candidacy for the presidency of FIFA on 29/07/2015.

The press conference takes place one year to the day after another press conference, also held in Monaco on 28/08/2014, at which Michel Platini announced that he would not be running for the FIFA presidency in the elections scheduled for 29/05/2015.

More than 200 journalists from over 50 countries are accredited to attend the event.
