2015-16 Champions League: the 32 clubs in the group stage will share €1.207bn

€1.257bn will be distributed to the clubs involved in the 2015-16 Champions League 2015-16, including teams eliminated in the qualifying play-off round. This annual amount is valid for the 2015-2018 cycle, and is 25.4% higher than in the 2012-2015 cycle (€1bn per season), under the terms of the agreement signed between UEFA and the ECA on 31/03/2015.

The 20 clubs that contested the Champions League play-off round will share €50m: €2m each for the 10 qualified clubs and €3m each eliminated club. €1.207bn will then be distributed among the 32 clubs in the group stage of the Champions League:

• 60% in fixed amounts (€724.4m)
• 40% (€482.9m) of "market pool" amounts, distributed in proportion to the value of each TV market of the participants, and divided between those clubs of the same federation (see below).

Among the fixed amounts, €384m (or 53% of the total) will be distributed equally between all 32 clubs in the group stage. This represents €12m per club, or 39.5% more than in 2012-2015 (€8.6m). The remaining €340.4m in fixed amounts will be allocated according to the sporting…
