Bundesliga: MVV Energie extends its partnership with TSG 1899 Hoffenheim until 2017-18

MVV Energie, the energy producer and distributor, has extended its partnership with TSG 1899 Hoffenheim (Bundesliga) until the end of the 2017-18 season, the club announced on 25/08/2015.

The agreement is worth an estimated €400,000 per year according to the German media. MVV Energie remains the official energy supplier of the Rhein-Neckar Arena (30,000 seats), which has an installation of 10,000m2 of solar panels at the stadium. MVV will benefit from visibility on the outside of the stadium. Along with the club, MVV also supports social projects in the region of Hoffenheim.

• TSG 1899 Hoffenheim finished in 8^th place (44 points) in the Bundesliga in 2014-15.

Partnerships of the Wirsol Rhein-Neckar Arena

• The stadium has been named the Hoffenheim Wirsol Rhein-Neckar Arena (30,000 seats) since 2011.
• The naming rights contract with the solar panels manufacturer Wirsol is estimated at €1.2m per year until 2015-16.
  • The stadium, which was inaugurated in 2009, belongs to the club.
