FIFA: Davor Šuker, president of the Croatian federation, supports the candidacy of Michel Platini

"In any case, Michel Platini will receive the full support of the Croatian federation and myself. We believe in his ability to lead. Whether he is at UEFA or FIFA, his presence and vision are positives for the world of football," stated Davor Šuker, the president of the HNS (Hrvatski Nogometni Savez, the Croatian Football Federation), on 26/08/2015.

Davor Šuker, the former Croatian international, has been the president of his country's federation since 2012 and will participate as such in the vote to elect the new president of FIFA during the extraordinary Congress of the international federation in Zurich (SUI) on 26/02/2016. Davor Šuker has also been a member of the UEFA Executive Committee since 24/03/2015.
