2015-16 Europa League: UEFA unveils visual identity for final in Basel on 18/05/2016, groups drawn

UEFA unveiled the visual identity for the final of the 2015-16 Europa League at the draw for the 2015-16 edition of the group stage (see below) of the competition in Monaco on 28/08/2015. The next final of the Europa League will be held at St. Jakob-Park (36,000 seats) in Basel (SUI) on Wednesday 18/05/2016.

"The identity for the 2015-16 UEFA Europa League final in Basel will seamlessly incorporate the energy wave concept as well as depict a notable local landmark, city crest and customised final word mark to encapsulate the spirit of the Swiss city, which will stage the game on Wednesday 18/05/2016," stated UEFA. The video also features the "Marktplatz", one of the most emblematic location landmarks of Basel, as well as the coat of arms of the city.
