FIFA: "This is neither the place nor the time to talk about the election" (Michel Platini)

"My way as head of UEFA is clear one way or the other: either I leave UEFA in six months, or I leave at the end of my term, in three and a half years," stated Michel Platini, the president of UEFA, at his return press conference at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco on 28/08/2015.

This annual event on the sidelines of the draw for the group phase of the Champions League (on 27/08/2015) and the Europa League (on 28/08/2015), is where Michel Platini made his first official remarks in 2015 since announcing his candidacy for the presidency of FIFA on 29/07/2015. "This is a UEFA event. It's UEFA tournaments we have been talking about here in Monaco so it's not the right time to talk about FIFA.
