"The ball will keep on rolling, no matter who leads FIFA," stated Joseph Blatter, the president of the international federation, at the conclusion of his weekly column published in the FIFA Weekly magazine on 28/08/2015.

"Football has the power to bring people together -- and to educate them. This was the fundamental idea when we launched the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) at Switzerland’s University of Neuchatel exactly 20 years ago (...) I have been asked whether this educational programme will continue after the extraordinary Congress next February. The answer is simple: of course it will!" added Joseph Blatter, referring to the Congress that will elect his successor on 26/02/2016.
