Serie A: Illumia (energy) becomes back of the shirt sponsor of Bologna FC 1909 in 2015-16

Illumia, the producer and distributor of electricity and natural gas, has become the back of the shirt sponsor of Bologna FC 1909 (Serie A TIM) for the 2015-16 season, the club announced on 27/08/2015.

The company, founded in Bologna in 2006, is entitled to visibility on the advertising boards surrounding the pitch at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara (38,200 seats). This contract represents the first sports partnership in its history. Illumia will activate its sponsorship with a TV spot that will air from October 2015. The company will also be the official supplier of electricity for the Dall'Ara stadium.

The official kit of Bologna FC 1909 will only feature local companies for the 2015-16 season, as the main shirt sponsor FAAC (manufacturer of automatic systems for opening and closing doors) and the sports equipment manufacturer Macron are also based in the province which includes Bologna.
